Just like Daddy, I am a storyteller of the ordinary and eccentric people, places, and animals that made up my life. I love finding universal humor and folksy charm in the small stuff of life, uncovering the comic, nostalgic, and quirky in such unlikely matters as junkyards, stick pins, and old rags. I love to entertain and charm my readers and listeners with stories of the ordinary and eccentric people, places, and animals that have made my life one big, unpredictable story.
Probably a lot like yours!
I tell stories of honest to goodness encounters with the dreaded Brown Recluse Spider, connections with my glove eating, accident-prone horse, Jackson, and our biggest hen and head surgery survivor, Mary Ann. I share heart to heart conversations about our nest-hiding, egg-stealing, high-jumping chickens, Tiffany, Zsa Zsa, and Danielle.
I so hope that you will feel right at home, and that my recollections make you smile, and bring back memories you didn’t even know you had.
